Land Clearing
Services in
Auburn, KY

Land clearing is the systematic removal of trees, brush, stumps, and vegetation from a property to prepare it for construction, farming, landscaping, or improved land use. Unlike simple brush cutting, professional land clearing involves strategic tree felling, stump removal, debris processing, and often site grading preparation to leave the land truly ready for its intended purpose.

At Christian Tree Service, we approach every land clearing project with a comprehensive plan tailored to your property's size, terrain, vegetation density, and intended use. Our crews use a combination of hand felling for precision areas, tracked machinery for large-scale clearing, wood chippers for brush processing, and stump grinders to eliminate all below-grade obstructions before site preparation begins.

We also specialize in selective clearing, preserving specific trees or natural buffers while opening the rest of the parcel. This approach is particularly valuable for residential developments and properties where mature trees add significant aesthetic and financial value.

Tree Felling and Removal

All trees within the clearing zone are safely felled using directional techniques. Large trees are sectioned if required by site conditions or proximity to structures or boundaries.

Brush and Shrub Clearing

All understory vegetation, shrubs, brambles, and brush are cleared using hand tools, tracked mulchers, or brush cutters depending on density and terrain.

Stump Grinding

Every stump within the clearing zone is ground below grade using commercial stump grinders, eliminating obstacles to grading, planting, and construction.

Debris Chipping and Hauling

All brush, limbs, and wood debris are chipped on-site and either spread as ground cover, left in designated areas, or fully hauled away depending on your project needs.

Selective Tree Preservation

If you want to keep specific trees, we identify, flag, and protect them throughout the clearing operation, including root zone protection fencing during machinery operations.

Permit Coordination

We research and handle all applicable clearing permits required by local Auburn, KY regulations, including any environmental review requirements for sensitive sites.

Tracked Mulchers

High-capacity tracked mulching machines that clear dense brush and small trees rapidly on large parcels, including challenging slope terrain.

Commercial Stump Grinders

Large stump grinders capable of eliminating stumps up to 36 inches in diameter below grade in a single operation.

Wood Chippers

Industrial drum and disc chippers processing branches and brush up to 18 inches in diameter for rapid debris reduction on site.

Excavators and Skid Steers

For large-scale root ball extraction, debris piling, and site preparation following tree and stump removal operations.

Christian Tree Service cleared a full 3.5 acres of wooded land for our new home build. They preserved the beautiful mature maples we marked, removed everything else, ground all the stumps, and left the site graded and ready for our excavator exactly when they promised. Very impressive operation.

We hired them to clear overgrown brush and small trees on two acres of our farm property that had not been managed in decades. The crew was hard-working, efficient, and respectful of our remaining crops and fence lines. The land looks absolutely transformed. Highly recommend.

As a commercial developer, I need land clearing contractors who show up, execute, and clear the site on schedule. Christian Tree Service has done three projects for us now. Every time, they are on budget, on time, and the site is properly documented for our environmental compliance file.
